Kylie Frey’s “Me and These Boots Reaches Top 20 – Official Music Video Released

My newest hit single “Me & These Boots” has been climbing the Texas Regional Radio Report’s Top 100 charts for 11 weeks now! This week, we marched in at #16, and we don’t plan on stopping there! With the song rising so high, my team and I felt it only appropriate to create a music video to highlight it! I’m extremely proud to announce the world premier of the “Me & These Boots” Official Music Video!

I had so much fun on set in Lake Charles, LA with Hunter Romero, and I absolutely love the final product! I hope you enjoy this video as much as we enjoyed creating it! You can also download the track from iTunes by following the link below!

Official Lyrics to “Me and These Boots”:

We work hard and we play rough

We turn heads when we get shined up

We go together just a pair of ramblin’ souls

Just count the scrapes and scuffs yea, there my story’s told

Yea me and these boots, we’ve seen a lot of miles

Me and these boots, we’ve done some runnin’ wild

We’re stubborn, we’re tough livin’ life up hill

Takes a special kind of man to keep us standin’ still

They’ll tell you everything you need to know about what you’re getting into

Boy if you’re gonna love me, you’re gonna love me, me and these boots

So now you know and here’s your chance,

To walk away or stay and dance

A girl like me could love a boy like you like crazy

But I ain’t the barefoot in your kitchen kinda lady

(X2) Yea me and these boots, we’ve seen a lot of miles

Me and these boots, we’ve done some runnin’ wild

We’re stubborn, we’re tough livin’ life up hill

Takes a special kind of man to keep us standin’ still

They’ll tell you everything you need to know about what you’re getting into

Boy if you’re gonna love me, you’re gonna love me, me and these boots

As Kylie Frey’s Rodeo Man Reaches Top 20 on Texas Charts, Fingers are Crossed

Country singer Kylie Frey’s second single ”Rodeo Man” continues to rise on the Texas Regional Radio Top 100 Chart, hitting #20 after nine weeks on the chart and rising to #15 in week 10.

After an official release onto the airwaves, “Rodeo Man” entered the charts as a “Record to Watch”, and rose steadily over the nine weeks from the #93 spot to its current position.

The ballad-like tune is the second single off of Kylie Frey’s album “Cinderella Dreams”. The singer/songwriter shared, “I’m so excited that people are loving Rodeo Man and I can’t wait to see where it goes!”

A new comer to the Red Dirt music scene, Kylie’s first single “The Chase” hit the charts in January of 2015 and also hit the Top 20 peaking at #12.

The Opelousas, Louisiana native recently concluded a string of performances at Wrangler’s National Finals Rodeo 2016 in Las Vegas, Nevada, which took place from Dec 5 – Dec 10.

Kylie was interviewed by Lafayette, Louisiana news station KADN Fox 15 following the announcement of hitting the Top 20. The interview can be watched here: http://www.cajunfirst.com/news/local-news/local-country-singer-charts-on-texas-regional-radio-top-20

Rodeo Man Hits Texas Charts as “Record To Watch”

After an official release onto the airwaves, “Rodeo Man”, has entered the charts as a “Record to Watch”.

The ballad-like tune is the second single off of Kylie Frey’s album “Cinderella Dreams”. The singer/songwriter shared, “I’m so excited that Rodeo Man is officially on the air and I can’t wait to see where this goes!”

“Cinderella Dreams” was released October, 2014, and her first single, “The Chase”, entered the Texas Regional Radio Top 100 Chart in January, 2015 peaking at #16, by May, 2015

As “Rodeo Man” journeys up the chart, the singer will continue her journey across the south with upcoming performances in Sulphur, Port Allen, and Port Barre, Louisiana, and Early, Texas scheduled for October and November.

Louisiana’s Own Rising Country Singer Kylie Frey Breaks Texas Top 20, Bags Award Nomination and Lane Boots Contract

Kylie Frey’s catchy country single “The Chase” continues to rise on the Texas Regional Radio Top 100 Chart – after hitting #19 in the first week of May, the ballad rose higher to #18 in the second week, and hit #16 the last week of May.

The rising Louisiana native delivers both southern sweetness and rodeo roughness in her debut album Cinderella Dreams and Texas is taking notice.

The same week her single broke into the Top 20, she announced her Texas Regional Radio Music Award first and second round nomination as New Female Vocalist of the Year.

As an added bonus, Frey has taken her first steps into the world of endorsement and fashion with a partnership inked with Lane Boots, the provider of handcrafted cowboy, and cowgirl footwear.

“Lane Boots is the perfect fit for me. Their sassy boots let me feel fashionable and keep my western heritage alive. When they approached me with the deal, I didn’t have to think twice about it,” said Frey.

“We are so excited that Kylie has chosen to work with us and we are honored to have her represent Lane Boots! She is not only extremely talented but she has a wonderful, caring personality that really shines through,” said Justine Lord, President of Lane Boots. “Can’t wait to see what her future holds!”

Recent performances by Frey included a show in Texas with Virgin Record’s River Road. Currently the singer/songwriter is penning tunes while in Nashville for an upcoming sophomore album, but doesn’t intend to stay far from her roots for too long.

“I’m just coming off of my first radio tour across Texas, Oklahoma and Kansas, so now I’m really looking forward to my upcoming performances,” said Frey. “ Especially since performing at the Marshland Festival in July will be like a little homecoming.”

Bellamy Brothers and River Road

I had such a great time at The Dosey Doe.  It was the perfect place for an opening act like myself to get perform. I could definitely tell the audience was there for the music and overall it was a great experience to open for the Bellamy Brothers.

Making a special appearance with River Road was one for the books. It was the coolest thing getting to share the stage with a band that has so much chemistry playing together. Having such an accomplished band playing my songs with me was an awesome thing. I’ve been in the studio with almost all of those band members but there’s something about getting to perform live with them. It was a great weekend for me.

I’m now looking forward to opening for Brad Brinkley at Cowboys on Friday, spending Cinco de Mayo at Sombreros of Opelousas, and playing in Lake Charles for the Marshland Festival!

Thanks for the support and love.

Xoxo Kylie
